Product Description

HS-EPOXY4485 is a two-component epoxy paint with micaceous iron oxide as antirust pigment. The

product has high solid content, fast drying, excellent adhesion, durability and corrosion resistance. It has

excellent thick-film low-temperature quick-drying properties, which can significantly improve construction

efficiency.

Product Usage

As an intermediate coating, it is applied to bridges, municipal, electric power and other steel structures in severe corrosion

environments, or chemical and power station pipelines, equipment and steel structures, or as an inorganic zinc surface

sealing paint, which has excellent supporting anti-corrosion properties.

The painted surface should be clean, dry and free from contamination. Surface evaluation and cleaning

standards refer to ISO8504. Cleaning of oil and grease should refer to standard SSPC-SP1 solvent cleaning.

Damaged Area Repair

Damaged areas must be sand washed to Sa 2½. (ISO 8501- 1:2007). Mechanical grinding to St3 (ISO

8501- 1:2007) grade is permitted if sand washing is not possible in localized areas. After the surface treatment

is completed, the primer shall be repaired according to the order of matching.

HS-EPOXY4485 should be applied to the metal surface according to the anti-corrosion package recommended by

Haishun Technology. Before construction, ensure that the painted surface is dry and free of pollution, and must be

applied within the specified recoating interval (refer to the relevant product manual).

Storage period (from the production date) : main paint: 12 months

Curing agent: 12 months  Must be stored in accordance with national regulations. The product should be stored tightly in a dry, cool,

well-ventilated warehouse, away from heat and fire. Excessive heat will shorten shelf life and may cause

paint to gel inside the can. The above is the shortest shelf life, after which it must be tested to determine

whether it can continue to be used.

This product is intended for professional use. Please refer to the safety information on the packaging and

before use. Use this product in a well-ventilated area and avoid skin contact. If it accidentally splashes on

the skin, wash it off with appropriate detergent or soap and water immediately. Eye contact with this

product must be washed immediately with water and go to the hospital for examination. During the

construction process, naked flames, welding and smoking are not allowed, and good ventilation must be

maintained at the same

time.
