Surface Treatment

The painted surface should be clean, dry and free from contamination. Surface evaluation and cleaning standards refer to ISO8504. Cleaning of oil and grease should refer to standard SSPC-SP1 solvent cleaning.

Sand Blasting

Sandblasted to Sa 2½ (ISO 8501-1:2007) or SSPC-SP6 (or SSPC-SP10 for better results). If oxidation has occurred on the blasted surface prior to painting, it must be retreated to the specified standard Require.
